How to connect trampoline springs.

If you are here, it is probably because like many people, you are having a hard time connecting the last spring or two on your trampoline- (connect trampoline springs hack).

You may be looking at this at 2am on Christmas Eve or the middle of a day while the kids are all standing around waiting on you to connect the last trampoline springs so that they can get to jumping.

Well, great news.

After you read below, you will no longer have that problem!

The reason? I was in the same boat and could never get the last couple of springs on a trampoline connected.

So here is HOW TO EASILY CONNECT TRAMPOLINE SPRINGS.

No special tools are required to connect trampoline springs.

Total time is under 30-minutes!

Actually there are two easy ways to connect trampoline springs. So you may find either or both helpful when putting on those annoying trampoline springs.

SAFETY WARNING & DISCLAIMER: Please remember to use gloves and safety glasses and be very careful as trampoline springs have a lot of tension that can result in injuries.

METHOD 1: Easy Trampoline Springs

      1. Get an extra long screwdriver (the longer, the better)

      1. Connect the spring to the metal triangle or circle clip part of the trampoline on the base or metal frame

    3. Then, take the long screwdriver and push it into the other hook

    4. Then push the end until you can reach the trampoline side and connect it to the connector

    5. Then, VERY CAREFULLY, while holding onto the screwdriver VERY TIGHTLY, PUSH the screwdriver towards the trampoline so that the end of the spring slides down the screwdriver and connects to the trampoline.

If this worked, celebrate and get to jumping.

IF it did not work connecting your springs to the trampoline, go to method 2.

HOW TO CONNECT TRAMPOLINE SPRINGS METHOD 2

Here is by far the easiest method I have found to hook and connect trampoline springs.

Now it is not as fast as the first method to connect a trampoline spring BUT it will be a little more efficient and easy, especially if you are having a hard time with those last few hard to get trampoline springs.

This method also uses less tension and manual force that is required with pushing the screwdriver.

This is the ‘Strap & Go’ method. At least that is what I call it.

You will need one ratchet strap and your trusty screwdriver again.

Take your ratchet strap and and connect one end to the trampoline side and the other around the trampoline frame. This part is very important. Wrapt it around the frame and not the spring.

Then slowly ratchet it down so that the tension begins pulling the trampoline closer to you.

As this happens you can begin to see the awesomeness of this technique and how amazing it is that it is actually working.
Then once it is close enough for you to push your screwdriver through, you are then able to connect the spring to your trampoline.
Then once this is completed, loosen the ratchet strap and move to the next spring.
